Dr. Aurelio Mendoza Memorial Colleges (AMMC) celebrates another milestone in academic and professional excellence as four of its BS Criminology alumni officially don the uniform of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
The newly minted Fire Officers, who have successfully completed their rigorous journey to join the ranks of the nation's first responders, are:
FO1 Isan Jay D. Caralos
FO1 Vincent Paul S. Luang
FO1 Irene Rose V. Torrefiel
FO1 John Lloyd B. Bandico
These four AMMC alumni were part of the elite Fire Basic Recruit Course Class No. 2026-143, distinctively named "PANDARAIGAN." Training at the National Fire Training Institute (NFTI) Region XII Satellite Campus in Sultan Kudarat, they stood alongside trainees from diverse regions, cultures, and backgrounds across the country.
The name ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ข๐ณ๐ข๐ช๐จ๐ข๐ฏ represents a class born from adversity and strengthened by every challengeโa group that refused to settle for ordinary and consistently raised the bar to become the benchmark of their generation. Through every formation, grueling drill, and sleepless night, these alumni transformed individual determination into collective excellence, proving themselves worthy of the trust and confidence of the Filipino people.
Their transition from dedicated Criminology students to official protectors of life and property stands as a proud testament to the high-caliber training, discipline, and education fostered within the AMMC Criminology Department. By answering the noble call of public service under the BFP, these four alumni embody the core values of their alma mater, carrying forward a legacy built on courage, integrity, professionalism, and selfless service.
As they march forward into their respective assignments, they carry not only the technical skills of modern firefighting but also the values, character, and resilience of true public servants. The entire AMMC community stands in high salute to their achievement and wishes them safety and success as they fulfill their duty to the nation.
